This Thanksgiving season, Stay Humble Psychiatry in partnership with Robinson Contracting and Northwoods Insurance Solutions, had the honor of giving back to the community we love. Our goal was simple: make sure families with young children and elderly community members could enjoy a warm holiday meal without worry.

What started as a small idea quickly became a beautiful community effort. Thanks to the generosity and support of our partner businesses, we were able to provide free turkey dinners to households who needed a little extra help this year. Dozens of families signed up, and we spent the day preparing, packing, all the fixings for thanksgiving dinner, even delivering a few to those who faced transportation issues.

With each meal we handed out, we were reminded of how powerful simple kindness can be. The gratitude, the smiles, and the relief we saw throughout the day made every step worth it. Many of these families were balancing tight budgets, caregiving responsibilities, or unexpected challenges—but a warm meal brought them comfort, dignity, and the feeling of being seen and supported.

A Heartfelt Thank-You to Our Community Partners

This initiative wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible businesses who stood with us:

  • Robinson Contracting

  • Northwoods Insurance Solutions

Your partnership helped ensure that no family or elderly neighbor had to go without a Thanksgiving dinner. We’re grateful not just for what you contributed, but for the heart behind it. Community care is strongest when local businesses come together—and this effort is proof of that.

Looking Ahead With Gratitude

Thanksgiving is about connection, compassion, and shared humanity. This year’s meal giveaway reminded us why staying humble and serving others is at the core of who we are. We’re honored to support this community not only through mental health care, but through meaningful, hands-on efforts that meet people exactly where they are.
